Hotel Fuki No Mori - Nagiso

The outdoor onsen was a stargazing paradise, and the traditional Japanese room was beautifully authentic. We loved relaxing by the log fire with a fine forest view after a long hike.

Spectacular position along with attentive staff are the reasons we truly enjoyed this modern hotel. We would come back for sure anytime❤🙂

What a lovely stay, no complaints whatsoever. A special property, fairly clean, beautiful location on a hill or two surrounded by forests. Location near to one or two areas where things could be improved for the guest, the mountains and a nearby eatery. Plus, 5 minutes drive from Clarehall Shopping Centre. Luxurious, large unit with the balcony, a wonderful view and complimentary tea...

The private onsen reservation was a complete disaster, blocked for our entire stay. The wifi was practically non-existent, a bit essential, dont you think? You'd think such a lovely hotel would at least offer a complimentary snack for the hassle, but no special treatment here, how disappointing, i almost gave a good review but just couldn't.

The views from the Beautiful Room with Balcony were amazing, and the spacious design. The kaiseki dinner was delicious, and the outdoor onsen was a perfect way to unwind after hiking the Nakasendo trail.

We booked a Japanese-Style Room for two nights and the experience was excellent. The kaiseki dinner was not just a meal, it was an event, every course was a good surprise, especially the fresh sashimi, and we also enjoyed the nice area outside with a fireplace, made evening chats lovely.

Sure, it wasn't inexpensive , but for what you get, it was still justifiable.

The rooms offer a unique blend of traditional design and modern comforts, with spacious settings that make relaxation easy. The on-site natural onsen provides a fantastic way to unwind after a long day of hiking, with beautiful views to enhance the experience.

While the room was clean and had decent facilities, it could use some freshening up as the woodwork showed signs of wear and tear. The private bath option at 2000 yen felt overpriced since it lacked basic infrastructure, like a shower, which limits your ability to clean before and after using the bath. Inefficient communication about check-in and amenities made my arrival more stressful, especially after a long day in the humidity of July. I wasn't allowed to freshen up before dinner despite arriving a bit late.

The spacious lounge, the outdoor Onsen, the delicious meals was amazing.

In my wife's opinion, better communication regarding amenities would be helpful.

The onsen was amazing , especially the outdoor facilities with fine views. The breakfast spread was beautifully presented and delicious, with a unique variety of dishes that delighted our taste buds. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout our stay 😊

Just one word to describe our stay, PHENOMENAL! The outdoor onsen was my favorite, especially after a long day of hiking. Dinner was a delicious seven-course meal that was surprisingly affordable. The only downside? A lack of good coffee options.

The Beautiful Room with Balcony was spacious and comfy, perfect after our hike. We had an awesome view from the balcony, and even the bathroom was nice. There was a hot-air syringe and a massage chair, a nice touch! Just a heads up, the futons were a bit of a challenge for us since we have some joint issues. But overall, the room was great.

The rooms here offer a fantastic view of the mountains from a hillside location and a raised platform.
